Mobile Pantry Program Information

The Mobile Pantry Program is modified to a drive-through distribution and will run as scheduled until further notice or changes need to be made. Please find the schedule below or sign up for email notifications here.

 
The Mobile Pantry Program directly serves people in areas where food is needed in an effort to supplement other hunger relief agencies. The mobile pantry truck travels around North Central Indiana providing nutritious perishable and non-perishable food. The truck provides at least 7,500 lbs. of food to each location, which is enough for 140 families to receive 40-50 pounds of food. Each truckload typically includes a variety of products such as frozen meat, canned goods, produce, baked goods and laundry soap. How Can You Help? Become a Mobile Pantry sponsor. The following percentages and dollar amounts of the total costs will be financed with federal money: TEFAP (.7%, $80,563.55), CDBG (.09% $11,000.00) and SFSP (.6%, $79,181.94) . The percentage and dollar amount of the total costs of the project or program that will be financed by nongovernmental sources is 98%, $11,314,373.47. Most up to date information will be included after we receive our audit as of FY 2016.
