Volunteer of the Month – July

Food Finders’ volunteer of the month is the Connection Point Church Youth Group!

This group, led by Pastor Mark Whitehead, wanted to enjoy the mild weather from a couple of weeks ago, so they ventured out to our rain gardens and savannas to help maintain the health of our native plants.

This group had a great time volunteering at the food bank! They didn’t realize that a dollar goes such a long way–3 meals for every dollar! They felt like what they were doing was meaningful.

We appreciate them and all the people who make what we do possible!
