Kohl’s gifts $5 million to nonprofits nationwide, including a Kohl’s Cares(R) grant of $100,000 for health and wellness of Greater Lafayette families.
Lafayette, December 2, 2020 — Food Finders Food Bank announced today a $100,000 grant from Kohl’s A Community with Heart Program to help provide hunger-relief to families in North Central Indiana. The funds will be used to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and dairy for Food Finders’ Fresh Market.
“We are honored to have been nominated by Kohl’s employees to receive this amazing gift, said Katy Bunder, President/CEO of Food Finders Food Bank. “The COVID-19 crisis has made it difficult for the food bank to purchase wholesome food at a reasonable price. This gift will have a huge impact on our ability to provide fresh produce, milk, eggs, and meat to those in need in Tippecanoe County.”
