Food Finders has a number of opportunities for your business to be engaged in the fight against hunger. More information about those opportunities is listed below and we are always open to your ideas – reach out to us today!

Food Finders’ Mobile Pantry program provides groceries and household goods directly to families without adequate access to other food resources like traditional food pantries and soup kitchens. Through one-day, targeted distributions operated by the Food Bank in collaboration with partner organizations, we bring help and hope to families across our service area. As part of a new push to enhance and expand this outstanding program, we are looking for a few deeply committed partners to make generous gifts to help offset the remaining cost to keep our mobiles rolling – approximately $158,000 annually. You would be among the “pilot” funders of this new giving opportunity, which means we have an opportunity to work together to identify appropriate recognition and publicity opportunities. There are also many rewarding and enriching volunteer opportunities for employees, including volunteering on Mobile Pantry distributions. Our most publicized event of the year, our fall Drive Away Hunger food drive engages hundreds of community organizations, businesses, and volunteers. Generous sponsorships help offset the costs of this campaign, enabling us to make the strong claim that 100% of all community donations raised will go straight to our programs that feed the hungry. Sponsors are truly the pillars of this drive, and as such, we offer exceptional visibility and other benefits to show our appreciation. Download our sponsorship levels packet for more information.

The BackPack Program provides backpacks full of nutritious food every Friday afternoon to 3,300 children in our service area. Currently, we have sites in 15 of our 16 counties, many of which are funded in part by site partners. Every BackPack costs approximately $6.82, which brings our total program cost to more than $780,000 yearly. There are a number of partnership opportunities available, and we will work with your company to design custom naming and recognition opportunities based on the giving level. Some examples are:

• A general gift to the program that could offset Food Finders’ unrecovered expenses for food, transportation, administration, and operation of the program.

• A gift specifically to offset our transportation expenses, possibly with a naming opportunity.

• A gift to help fill in gaps at sites that are of very high need and have difficulty raising funds locally to support the program.
